About SMART Recovery International

With Affiliates in 16 countries and a growing digital presence, SMART Recovery has become a global community of support for people overcoming addiction. Today, several thousand trained volunteers—peers, professionals, and allies—facilitate around 3,500 free weekly meetings across the world.

SMART Recovery also provides tailored programs for families and friends, young people, justice-involved participants, and culturally diverse communities. For more than three decades, the SMART program has been researched, refined, and proven to help people thrive.
